Who would be more attractive than us? We'd be easily the biggest and richest show in town. Even with Sunderland in there, their geographical location will hamper them as it has done in this league.

Colocini is absolute mince. Lescott, Okore, Amavi, Veretout, Gil, Traore are all good enough to steam hat league.

Gestede brassed the place up for God's sake. The second division is wank.
You were telling us no way we would go down not long ago.

And you were spitting your dummy out that we'd beaten Palace. This game is fun.

It is fucking depressing that Newcastle and Stoke can bid £21 million for a player, regardless of what we perceive his value to be, but we operate like we are playing in the non-league.

96mil from TV is reason they can spend that money , though in Newcastle's case thats not guaranteed

I'm not sure why Berahino would go there surely he knows better clubs would want him

To be honest, if we're nowhere near a target to make us better, it's better that we don't sign anybody. The last thing we need is a budget option like Westwood or Bowery. Any signings we need need to come in straight away and do a job. I saw earlier we were linked to Sunderland's second choice keeper. I'm in a situation where I'll be steaming if we don't sign anybody and likely to be disappointed if we do.

We've acted incredibly small time since O'Neill had the rug pulled from under (blue touch paper lit, now retiring to safe distance). Can we remove prepared from the crest and change it to ' surrendered'.

Respectfully but where has this notion come from that Randy & Fox (now Hollis) are some kind of shrewd football wheeler dealers waiting for just the right moment to deploy strategic spending to transform our team into a good one?

They are not starving the club of transfer money to keep their powder dry. They are not spending money because we are Lerners forgotten asset and he just wants the problem to go away or be sold for a profit.

Assumptions that this will finally be the summer the club invests are more optimistic than I feel is warranted. Most sane people assumed this January was the window the club would obviously invest as there is no way they would simply accept relegation. But they have.

I just think Lerner is trying to pay out as little as possible as he bides his time for a buyer. For all the written off loans, the fact is there have been titanic TV deals before the one coming up, and we've practically spent peanuts. I'm convinced there won't be huge amounts spent on a rebuild because it's not going to be worth his while.

Newcastle is perfect. Have a good season and do the dirty on them. If it doesn't pan ouit, sit on your big contract.  Easy.

The Dummy's are those that think that these clowns will all of a sudden discover the correct way to run a Football club.

Which reminds me that you never did say who those "so called spokes people" are.

I don't see any serious buyer stepping forward until we've been relegated, promoted and had at least one stable season back in the Premier League.
