Rhodes will probably turn us down for Middlesboro and who could blame him?

We're we ever in for him?

How on earth are they going to get anyone of any ability to join in the summer? We are going to see this season out with repetitive defeats, boo's, lowering crowds and increasing frustration. Do they think fans are going to suddenly come flocking back after summer? Do they think people are going to forget the stigma that's being built up around the name of Aston Villa right now?

We are viewed as a joke club, who no one wants to own, who no one wants to play for with vicious fans on the brink of mutiny. There is real damage being done at the moment to our club and things aren't going to be hunky dory after a months break over summer.

What vicious fans are those?

In my experience that's how some of the wider public are beginning to perceive us. They see stupid articles about booing players, arguments with players, abuse as they get on and off the coach, stealing wheel chairs, fans are delusional and all the rest and see us as a very toxic club right now.

They should make it £22m, that way they will be paying a million for each top flight goal he's scored.

The words 'some' and 'beginning' makes me think you are making it up.

Can't see us being in for Rhodes but I wouldn't say no, at least he's proven in the championship for next season.

I don't buy this "vicious fans" thing for a second.

The way I think people see us is with a huge amount of sympathy for the last five years.

Again whilst  I don't necessarily with the players Newcastle are spending their money on at least they're actually trying to stay up.

I think that, given his potential, getting Berahino for £21 million might be a decent deal. He'd certainly score more goals than the forwards we've signed this transfer window.

If I was offered Doumbia and Berahino or Ayew and Gestede tomorrow I know which I would take!

Although as much as I don't rate him there is a sound logic to putting Gestede and Rhodes together next season in the Championship.
