Garde is probably looking at it and wondering if it's worth buying players at the moment. He will want to dump quite a few players right now and bring his own in come the summer. So he'll need to wait to see where we are before he can get who he wants. Its not because he is doing nothing, just that we're so far behind there's no point in spending millions on further players that aren't right for us.

then loan some players.  Sticking with our current squad is just too bleak to even think about. Im sure we can spend a bit on wages for 5 months

Yep, just do something, anything.  At least go down with a bit of a fight and give the fans something to hold on to.  At the moment it just looks like we're getting the white towel ready to throw into the ring.

Bacunas a fucking donkey with the back bone of a sperm. He shouldn't be anywhere near a premier league team. He'll look shite in the Championship too next season. He can't defend, can't control a ball, is physically small and weak and has no brain. He has no set position because he's crap in them all. Having him around as a squad player is useless because it's almost having 10 players on the pitch. I'd rather we give his squad position to a youth graduate if we are going to fuck around and spend bugger all again. This has been an appalling transfer window again. In fact we haven't done any decent business for years now and we're in the shit up to our eyeballs.

Seconded!

5 year contract m'lord, they're the real donkeys. I get more annoyed by that grin he does when he fucks up, we see it every game now without fail.

We are so bad it's not funny anymore.

I have zero trust in this in any of the squad, coaches, management, administration, owner or any of the fuckers to get us out of this never ending downgrading of Aston Villa.

It doesn't matter who we do or don't sign now as until RL has gone nothing will improve this once great club.

Has there ever been a "Lerner Out" sign at Villa Park"

Lerner seems to get a lot of "virtual" criticism on here, but it's the players and managers who seem to face the brunt of it in the real world.

We're fucked and I don't think we've seen anything yet. The new chairman "local business man"is so in tune with Birmingham  he supports Man City Imagine appointing somebody who has openly said he would never have thought about running a football club.
Worst run club bar none

How is Shropshire born Hollis any less of a local businessman than Cheshire born Doug Ellis was?

I bet my rumour is more accurate.

I would love us to pull Gomis and Doumbia out the bag on Monday, then get Debuchy and Inler in late miracle loans and look like an actual football team for the rest of the season but we are not going too. Its all bollocks.

That would be a great window. Looks unlikely.

How many signs do you want?
As said the man himself printed a huge one about two years ago by putting us up for sale....so he wants out so there is not much point in beating that dead donkey.

Randy Lerner allegedly wants to go so let's lay off him?  It's just not a solid argument, for me.  Even if he  wants to go he still has a huge, huge duty of care to Aston Villa.   His neglect of the Club these past five years is not acceptable on any level and, again, for me, he deserves every ounce of stick  gets.  Banners, chanting, boycotts, you name it - drive this poisonous idiot from the door.

I did think yesterday we could have played a couple of under 21's  as the line up including Guzan , Sinclair , Clarke , Westwood and Richards you just knew what we were going to get and we did.
Lyden for Westwood and Sellars for Sinclair for instance and one or two more on the bench, as it happened he had to put Okore on for the second half who is exempt from any criticism in my opinion and may have got injured, bit puzzled really.

He isn't that wasn't my point really. It just appears that  Randy has picked some bloke to run a Premier League Football club who had never thought about running a football club previously. Call me picky but unsurprisingly it seems a bit hair brained from Randy and I predict it isn't going to end well

Agreed. And using terms like embattled or whatever, also doesn't help either. Not the best way to introduce someone. I already have a negative about the guy now, right from the start instead of thinking he's here to help.
