This squad sucks. The worst in Premier League history.

Derby have that accolade.

I doubt it will be in the bottom 5 worst squads in history by the end of the season.

The lack of any investment by the board this January is genuinely a fucking disgrace.

We are the laughing stock of English football, and they care about as much as I do about the shit I produced this morning, fucking had enough.

It's definitely our worst anyway.

I think it's absolutely unforgivable that we've got to January 30th with the the club's worst ever PL team and they haven't bought a single player to help out the manager. It's a dereliction of duty by Lerner and co in my opinion. Something he's been guilty of for the last 6 seasons. The man has no shame that this great club is now a complete laughing stock.
Shame on you, Lerner, you are a stain on this club's history, and I don't care if people think that's over the top.

I dread what they are going to conjure up over the summer. I expect us to mostly keep in tact the gutless wimps we have playing for us and then roping together some old guys from your Brentford's and the like and spending peanuts.

Hey, now peanuts are a valuable commodity. You can't go throwing them around like confetti, that sort of profligacy is what got us in trouble in the first place.

Not appointing clowns, or signing cart horses, no siree Bob.

More likely we'll be told we're deluded for thinking we can compete with Brentford.

I do not think Garde will be palmed off without the support to construct a competitive squad.
If he walks between now and next season we should be very worried indeed.

Don't think we need anyone now. People will look at today's scoreline and overreact. The truth is we matched them for large parts of the warm up and could've caused a shock if it hadn't been for 80-85 minutes when they were on top. Onwards and upwards. Keep up the good work,Villa board.

Football is rotten. Managers, players, coaching staff, administrators everywhere are rewarded financially for failure.

They don't have to give a damn that their footballing CV will be blighted with relegation.

It is a worry that he could walk out of the club if he's not backed this January. I can't imagine he took the job with the condition he'd have nothing to spend in the transfer window.

Aye. We have got to be realistic here. Better to keep our powder dry for League one rather than waste it trying to compete in the Championship. Fans need to just get a grip and embrace the long term plan for the club.

Not given that he's made numerous references to getting his players in. I think losing Garde would be terrible, because today aside he's starting to turn us round.

[sarcasm] All this talk of transfers and getting players in is a false narrative...look at how many Villa key rings Fox sold in the last couple of months - why can't you all see how well we're doing [/sarcasm]
