There's a massive difference between a player not being good enough for a top half PL side, and not being good enough for the Championship. Look at the sides near the top of the table, Hull are shit. And yet they are top. Abel Hernandez is ripping up that division, he was wank in the PL, worse goal ratio than Gestede is managing for us.

Spot on, I keep thinking this is something people overlook when talking about who to keep when we go down.
I may be getting boring but we are not down yet, not by a lot of miles

A new keeper, right sided centre half, preferably a brute as back up for Okore. A better attacking full back than Hutton, I won't say defensive as it goes without saying.

A physical and preferably quick defensive midfielder to replace Sanchez, with another box to box athletic type to share the load with Veretout and Gana, make it two if the latter goes.

A left winger and a mobile striker and we're promoted before you've watched Ben Hurr and eaten too many creme eggs.

When you look at players that have got permits even within this window you have to have sympathy with Villa.

And yes it was the Cup but that The Shit are top 8 shows how crap that division must be. They were shite at ours.

We have been shit this season, but the bad luck , shit referees , injuries,   overweight linesmen , stuff like this work permit is the fly on a steaming dog turd.If we are in the Championship next year , we should get more than enough luck to win promotion and a cup.

We seem a very easy and convenient target to apply the letter of every law to at the moment. Don't be surprised if our keeper get's done for holding the ball for too long before the season ends either.

Haven't Arsenal and Liverpool just got them for players who have never played internationals and are further out of the EU than member state Croatia?

Can we not find an Italian grandfather like Arsenal seemed to with half their signings from non EU countries.

Leicester got one for Amartey didn't they. I think a law that has been bent or stretched many, many times for others, has been applied like a vice here. I feel sorry for Garde.

I bet he gets a permit in the summer for another side in the Prem and ends up being one of the best in the league too. It is our bloody luck.
