I just read that article in the Mail - Gregg Evans supposition though it is - and he reckons we've slimmed down the ambition to a keeper and a striker and anybody else would be a bonus. So Debuchy to Sunderland is probably accurate.

That's just rehashed from about a week ago - I remember reading it then too.

Fat Sam said today that he's made an enquiry for Debuchy but it's gone no further.

Debuchy has lived in the north-east before. That's got to be in our favour surely?

Sunderland likely to get Kharzi and in talks with Debuchy. Both looked like they were high up Garde's list. Bloody tough month for him. Fell very sorry for him.

If Debuchy went there it'd be a real kick in the nuts.

If it's only on loan until the end of the season, then no big deal.  If he goes there on a permanent deal then it would be a blow as we need an upgrade at RB.
