When he's had a manager who has wanted to use him (Wenger, Hughes, Mourinho, Sherwood) he's generally done a very good job, when he's had a manager who hasn't wanted to use him (Mancini, Villas-Boas, Pochettino) he's not complained, he's just sat there and got on with things.

I don't recall many arguments with those latter three. I'm pretty sure that Pardew is going to be more of a Hughes/Sherwood type, and I reckon he's easily going to get the nine goals that he'll want to score to beat Drogba's record.
