Chamakh is better than Kozak and Gestede though. We could do worse on loan for a bit.
Is he? Really??
Okay, better than Gestede but hardly a prolific scorer.
Chamakh is pants. The last thing we want is another lump who can't really run up front. He's also 32 and has an appalling scoring record. I'd rather stick with Rudy personally. Rudy might not be brilliant and a little bit shit, but used correctly can be effective.
Kozak still has something to offer and will get better the sharper he gets.

If we sign someone, it should be someone with a bit of pace and skill.

At least this place is more realistic than Twitter. Chamakh is about where we're at right now and is our level. Fans on Twitter are seriously discussing Benteke coming back on loan and getting their hopes up. My tweet "Anyone who thinks we can get Benteke back is fecking mental" has gone down well.

He might've been better in the dim & distant', but he's that good now - he can't even get in to the Palace starting 11: and their recent goals-coring record is (probably) even shittier than ours! Oh, and his hair 'thing' he persists with should've brought about a string of criminal convictions by now. Obviously.

Chamakh is shit. Just because we are in a shit position doesn't mean we should sign more garbage.

Shit + Shit = Shit.

Leverkusen have sold right back Guilio Donati to Mainz. Could mean Debuchy has decided to go there

Chamakh is utterly dreadful. No particular strengths other than diving. Avoid.

Wait till (if) we are relegated. The players we will be targeting will be worse than this windows. We wont be discussing the likes of Benteke or even Chamakh. We will be shopping for the likes of Billy Sharp who can "do a job" and is "sensible financially".

well that's what happens when you're consistently shite and eventually get sucked down the plug hole. you have to cut your cloth accordingly.

Can't we discuss Benteke coming back on loan here?

If nothing else, it makes me happy.

It's already being discussed in the 'Plans to Sleep With Mila Kunis' thread, on the grounds that they are equally as likely.

I will play. After he saves us from relegation with a 15 goal haul, Lerner decides that we do need to spend to buy quality after all and he re signs permanently on the same deal Liverpool are paying him.

I like this discussion, it cheers me up as well :)
