I was under the impression Debuchy was going to be a loan move.

No one decent is turning up here in a permanent deal, we won't pay what the seller wants and the players will be insisting on relegation release clauses so you can't build anything.

Just try to get in a couple of decent loans from here and abroad and see if that can lift some of the existing players who are playing better now.

Yeah that's my view. All we need is a couple of loans to see if they can add something. We can look at permanent players in the summer.

for me loan signings until the end of the season arent going to get us anywhere

we are as good as down barring a miracle so a loan signing comes in and then buggers off at the end of the season and then we are back to square one again

So we sign someone who might want to leave at the end of the season if we go down? What would be the point in that?

I agree with you Oswald. Don't see the point in getting loans who don't really want to be here, don't care if we stay down or go up. I'd only sign players with an eye on next season.

I get it if they want to be here next season and are willing to play in the championship if we go down, that's fine. It may be the reason why we're having trouble attracting players to come. It can't be easy with the predicament we're in. Loan deals can work though, especially in the case of Debuchy who'll be wanting to go to the euro's.

I hope the reports in the keeper are wrong. More than anything we need a replacement for Guzan. With Fuzan on top form we would have been 7 or 8 points better off this season. We need a better keeper even if we go down.

Who would you rather have in midfield Westwood or NRC?

What would you rather get a blow job from? A scabby piss-stained tramp or a Staffordshire Bull Terrier?
I am thinking at least the Bull Terrier will be quite aggressive and wouldn't ask for a penny!

Tramp would probably be toothless

Some great rationale being explored here chaps.

Not necessarily.  If it is the right loan player, they could come in, do well and give the existing players a lift that could be taken into next season.  Look at the impact Kyle Walker and Robbie Keane had during their loan periods with us.

That is absolutely right.  Bring in a couple of loans for the very weak positions in the team so that it helps the better players finish the season with confidence and encourage them to see that there is a future at this club.

"Saving Villa thing for paper obviously. Something u need. Something u are about to get.

A striker, 11 extra points or a new owner.
