Crespo gone out on Loan for 6 months to Rayo Vallecano.
Just on Sky Transfer Centre.

That's the end of him then, was it just the one game against Stoke he played?

Wouldn't it be nice to get in a player or two in time for the Albion game? What a lift that would give us.
It really isn't good enough.

I didn't think Crespo was that bad against Stoke.  Actually, of the three players that can play in the position, Hutton is the one I want us to shift.

he played centre half against Southampton in the league cup too didn't he.

Useful enough squad player in the Championship.

I would think there will be a defender or 2 incoming with Ilori, Crespo and Bennett all going back out and Amavi out injured.

Swansea are now in for Sane apparently.

Exactly VID. Take Sane for example. Clearly had talks and the player is keen to come but only on loan due to our position. The difficulty there being his club want to sell him now not loan him, so Swansea, being 10 points better off are in a position where he will likely join them not us.

Debuchy we have clearly been trying but the position makes it tough. Players will start to come when they run out of alternatives in the last week of the window, as Garde himself alluded too a week or so ago.

I'd have thought players going out on short term loans are more interested in playing games then ending up at clubs higher up the league, and call me a cynic if you like but I'd hope it wasn't anything to do with us not offering the going rate in wages. It wouldn't be the first time we've missed out on players because of our infatuation of keeping the wage bill down.
