Scouted Lars Reader again at the weekend according to reports in Portugal. Massive 22 year old German keeper. I am all for it on account of him being 1. Massive and 2. German. Both ideal qualities for a keeper.

And 3, he's not Brad Guzan

The third one is the only reason needed

Might be getting a bit carried away after tonight, but I would be on the phone to Liverpool first thing tomorrow to see about the possibility of taking Benteke back until the end of the season.  Might be just a pipe dream, but Villa Park would be bouncing on Saturday if he came back.

Bunn looked quite small tonight. I like a beast in goal.

Beg Stoke for Crouch and sign Inler from Leicester after Saturday's game to replace Westwood. Keep the same fight as tonight and who knows.

£12 million shelvey to Newcastle  I wonder if he was one who didn't want to come .
I think the final few days could see activity maybe a Remy or inler if other options aren't available to them and our form continues

Inler was supposed to have played very well for Leicester last weekend at Spurs in the cup. Unless they have someone else lined up I cant see them releasing him. He was a fantastic midfielder for years with Napoli and Switzerland.

I posted something like that a few weeks back and have mentioned it more than once to my son. Klopp doesn't seem to be his biggest fan so it is worth a phone call.

We need to forget about Benteke, he's not coming back. Besides, he's the only fit striker they've got.

They'll surely buy one in the window.  Obviously long term, he's not an option, but there might be a unique opportunity in this short window?  He'll want to be playing with the Euros ahead and at least knows the surroundings and a lot of the players at Villa Park.  I think he'll be gone from Liverpool in the summer, so might fancy a couple of months banging in the goals to get himself in the headlines again.

I might be being very naive and idealistic, but I would also like to think he would want to help out the club that gave him his big break in the game.
