Did we put a buy back clause in Daniel Johnsons deal? 15 goals from midfield since he left us last January. Can we buy him back please for the Championship.

You can guarantee we didn't put anything in.

The next Gary Cahill/Marc Albrighton.

Hi All
I take note of all your suggestions ie striker, keeper etc and agree with your comments but what we really need is a complete team of Premier League players. Richards outburst at the fans on Saturday was truthful "We're trying our best" but their best is a long way short of the standards required.
So today there's a Crisis Meeting in the States with Lerner this should have been held 4 years back, if funds are going to be made available who's going to select the players we need?

Never understood why we moved him on. He always looked good on and off the ball and just lacked a little authority in the game...which comes with experience/age.

One of the coaches told me it was his attitude, just too laid back and nonchalant.

Right I'll keep this brief. I'd like:

Lescott
A new keeper
Charlie  Austin

Please.

smacks as a MON type of plan  ...aged or plain expensive signings with not great talent

Agreed, we don't have the midfield capable of playing with two up top so pointless getting in Austin. Are people forgetting that we spent 20m on Gestede and Ayew already this summer, are we already giving up on both of them?
Lescott is no better than Clark imo either. To be fair Sherwood's doubts re Guzan are proving justified already. He spreads panic in the back four when the ball is at his feet. Don't think his shot stopping ability is all that either, both goals yesterday could have been saved imo with better positioning from Guzan. Dann's header was very central

What we need is to play a formation that gets the most out of our players, that should be 4231. We need to get pacy players around Gestede so would go with Traore and Sinclair from the start against Sunderland

----------------Guzan
Hutton, Richards, Clark Amavi
 -------Sanchez, Westie/Gueye
Traore, Grealish, Sinclair
--------------Gestede

Gil, Ayew, Veretout in reserve and to be introduced early in the front four aren't doing it. Gabby and Bacuna should be dropped from the squad after their efforts yesterday

A cheeky loan bid for Victor Valdes anyone?

This is when we should have gone for Valdes

Disagree, everything now points to them not trying 100%. The manager has come out and said it to everyones face that the effort isn't there and the stats back it up that we work the least in the division. The players are mugging us all off at the moment and have been for months.

Talkshite this morning linked Villa, Derby and QPR with Tom Huddlestone, who is out of contract this summer.

I actually think he's the type of player we'll need in the Championship, as are Walters and Adam at Stoke (although I'm sure many will disagree).

I would agree with all three

I would not touch any player that has been at one of the so called 'top' clubs. Most come with an over inflated opinion of themselves.

This. I was shocked by some of the lazy performances on Saturday. Especially Gueye and Westwood strolling around the pitch and their loose passes and being second to every ball.

When Kmac took over after Sherwood's departure I heard that many of the french players could barely be arsed to train.

You can forgive a lack of quality but never a lack of effort.

If you thought being lumbered with Gabby & Gestede was punishment enough. Someone's just told me we're looking at Nicolas Bendtner!

I'm not sure who we've pissed off to deserve all this (if true)

The Lord Bendtner is far too good for us and only just missed out on the Ballon D'Or.

Walters, as mentioned above, would be a good signing for the Championship. I also think we should be going after Darron Gibson from Everton now, only has 6 months left on his contract, rumoured to be available. Good player for next season and would also be better than most of our current midfielders for the latter part of this one.

I would argue if we sign those three we will end up saddled with older players are relatively high wages who won't cut it if we get back up. If we go down I think we need to look to the best young players in the Championship and build from there.

I worry about the fitness of Gibson

The issue with Huddlestone is him covering the ground. If we don't work hard enough now, he is unlikely to improve us!

Walters I would take.
