It's a gift for Paul Clement. Last season he worked with Ronaldo, James and Benzema this season it's Bent, Weimann and Agbonlahor. How lucky is he?

Talkshite this morning linked Villa, Derby and QPR with Tom Huddlestone, who is out of contract this summer.

I actually think he's the type of player we'll need in the Championship, as are Walters and Adam at Stoke (although I'm sure many will disagree).

I hope we don't just look at assembling a squad that can get us promoted. That's a starting point but we also need to be thinking in terms of being a comfortable mid-table Premier League season in the first year back and laying the foundations for that. None of us will want us to be a yo-yo team.

Totally agree, though if we were promoted, we would have the summer to bring in some players.

With Bennett and Cissokho back, surely a couple of midfielders that will run, tackle and pass forward to a team mate would be more use than a left back?
