Incredible to think his predecessor was Brad Jones who now is number 2 at Bradford.

Probably two of the worst keepers I've seen play in the premier league.

Gomes the Watford 'keeper and the joker who took his place when he got injured against us back in November run them pretty close.

That Watford sub must have been the goalkeeping cousin of Ali Dia because there is no way he was a real professional footballer.

All the Albion fans at work were saying yesterday that they've heard Gabby is going there. They also all said that they don't want him because he's "shit, a viler, fat, useless". If he goes there you just know he'd score against us in a couple of weeks.

Yes he will score a double hat trick and kiss the badge on his chest and we will lose 6-0 .

Yes all that fan abuse towards the team earlier along with this hellish run is really going to attract quality players

Lescott to La Galaxy seems to be a strong rumour.

Still don't think there is any point buying players now unless its loan deals. We're down  and why pay more for a player if he's willing to come, who will cost less in fee's and wages in May? Plus we could be left with another player who a new manager won't want. Atm i can't see any reason to believe Garde will still be in charge next season apart from a sympathy vote from Lerner. If WBA are willing to buy Gabby then bite their hand off, same goes for all the other  duffers

If that does happen, and Gabby goes, and NZogbia goes then I really hope we have 4-5 players incoming that are actually going to improve us on the pitch.

The midfield is dire, Okore needs cover at centre half on the right side, we need pace up front, and a mobile, strong centre forward.

Trouble is i can't see us getting them now. It's hard enough to get good players in January if you're doing well and have a decent budget. Come May, at least we won't have the stench of doom wafting around, and decent ambitious players can see a promotion challenge as a a realistic target for Villa. Now, we either buy players for the championship which isn't really helping us or them now, or try and convince better players we have a hope of staying up. I know footballers as a rule aren't thought of as the sharpest knives in the drawer but Garde would be doing very well to find enough fuckwitts willing to join us with that gambit.

Staying up might be impossible but we need results to get the fans back behind the team , carrying on like this and going down is going to be toxic.

I don't see a team not trying if anything the stupid fouls like the pen today are evidence of trying too hard , desperate to get the ball back. What I see is a team mentally beaten before a ball is kicked. We need some players to come in to maybe drag the rest of them out of the mire.
