Not sure if it has been mentioned elsewhere but the back page of The Sun is running a story saying Albion are interested in Agbonlahor and mentions a fee of £1.5m.  Would be worth it just to see the reaction of their fans.  Franksy and the WM phone-in would would go into meltdown.

At least it would get the fee back they robbed from us for Lescott.

If he went there, he would score 3-4 goals in his first 5-6 games, then go back to being Gabby.

Incredible to think his predecessor was Brad Jones who now is number 2 at Bradford.

Probably two of the worst keepers I've seen play in the premier league.

Gomes the Watford 'keeper and the joker who took his place when he got injured against us back in November run them pretty close.

Gomes is like David James back in the day, will occasionally throw one in but very capable of match winning saves, Watford's defensive record has been pretty good this year.

If there's one manager in this league who'd still want Gabby, it is Pulis. He tried to sign him for Stoke in 2012.

He'd play out wide there imo or be back up like Rickie Lambert as they'll surely sell Berahino this window.

Would be amusing to see the self-proclaimed Mr Aston Villa play for them.

Had a conversation with a Baggies fan at work yesterday. He claimed it was imperative that they got a new striker to put away "all the chances Sessegnon is making", as Lambert can't lead the line as well as he used to. He also claimed this wonder signing would lead to a top half finish.

He'd probably do a good job for them. On the basis that he's never going to do it for us again,  take the money and run.

Just to clarify once and for all....Adam Bogdan really was a serious suggestion on here.

Just to make sure.

I think that may have been me, mate  :)

I can only speak as I see, and every time he played against us he did really well as well as games on TV.
I didn't see last nights game, but I did see he was beaten direct from a corner.

Oh god there's two! It was Chris Harte actually.

Bogdan is worse than Guzan.

You've obviously seen Bogdan play live much more than me then.
As I mentioned, I can only speak as I see. I've been to games he's played in 6 times and he's always done well.

Probably not going to happen in this window, but at some point we are going to need a defensive midfielder who is an upgrade on Westwood and Sanchez.  After the former's performance today, it is clear he is not going to be good enough, even in the Championship.

we're going to need an upgrade on everyone bar Ayew , Veretout & Amavi. Should we be able to keep hold of them. If not, an upgrade all round.

I'd hope we wouldn't sell Agbonlahor to any of our dear near neighbours. What is it with Small Heath and Albion, they're absolutely obsessed with our players and getting hold of them.

I see Crouch has already scored today, he's certainly better than Gestede. He would be better on loan till the end of the season than that lumbering tool we have now.

Crouch would be great. Next season too. Garde needs the club to help him out and get him 3 experienced players that are his. Much the way Wenger used him.

Oh I agree, a total clear out is required.  I was pretty confident that our probable drop to the Championship would be a short one, but on that viewing today I'm not so sure.  We need a massive overhaul of playing staff, the sort that can't be fixed in one transfer window.
