He must have received the ball centrally about 7 or 8 times at the weekend and was brushes straight off it. He is very skilful and I think can finish well but rarely plays a killer pass usually due to bring to deep. It might be with giving him a shot right up to alongside Ayew in a Beardsley type role.
He probably doesn't play many killer passes due to the total and utter dearth of talent in front of him.

the 'whos bothered or less bothered' debate is more interesting than anything happening in the Villa transfer market at the moment

That bothers me.

Me ? Don't give a s**t

Agree with the last sentence and you only have to look at Bojan at Stoke to see how a player of that type can be used.  I remember what I think was his home debut when he came on against Liverpool in that 'number 10' role and created some chances.

Remi does seem to be talking about a lot of players.

I think that is what is known as the law of diminishing returns

I reckon we are light in numbers for midfield and yet have allowed Gardner to join Forest. I hope this means we have someone lined up. Inler?

Inler would be great. Apparently  Afobe is of to Bournemouth and Khazi likely to go to Celta Vigo.

I think we are finding out that 11 points adrift means targets in the 1st list are not likely to come.

I've got a couple of mates watching tonight’s match with me and one of them - a Scouser - reckons that the only reason Benteke is playing in a team of stiffs tonight is to cup tie him prior to him being sent on loan to us.
Fanciful I know, but my mate goes to most of their home games and says that the big man just doesn't fit into Klopp's style of play and maybe he'll come back here till the end of the season and then Klopp will try to sell him off to another club.
Pure speculation I know but it's in the thread title. And stranger things have happened.

Will I would love 6 months of the big man back of only because we would see some moments of brilliance. Maybe the last we would for a long time but I very much doubt it.

Its very unlikely but he does need to play for several reasons;

a) Its the Euro's in 6 months so he would want/need to play regularly

b) If he doesnt play his value will decrease as his performances have been poor this season but thats not all his fault

You dont need to be a rocket scientist to work out that he isnt Klopps sort of player

Just to clarify once and for all....Adam Bogdan really was a serious suggestion on here.

Just to make sure.

Yes, Mr Harte's suggestion doesn't look that great right now.
