Anyone take Kevin Nolan?

Delivered to Villa Park in his coffin? He's finished mate, ask any West Ham fan he is completely shot.

Agreed. In the same boat as Lescott and Richardson, Cole and Senderos.

And from what we've seen this season, Richards, Hutton and Guzan.

He was brilliant for Newcastle when they came up and then West Ham, but that was a long time ago now. He's done at this level. In fact where is he right now??
We do need that sort of personality and player though. Someone who's been and done it and can still deliver.
But we can't go and sign any old fucker. Players like Cole, Richardson and Lescott are well past it. We need someone who still has something left in the tank but is willing to come and help us rebuild in the championship.
Someone mentioned Barry the other day. Maybe come the summer Everton will be looking to replace and he may be persuaded to come back. He's coming up 35 but he's looked after himself and is still doing it at the top level. I think for a season or two he'd be great for us.

That was me that mentioned Barry. We are going to need experience in one or two key areas, and I think he'd be ideal.

Otherwise I'd spend January simply getting rid of whoever we can that we won't need next season, so that they can be replaced with suitable alternatives that are.

Kevin Nolan has always been one of those horrible bastard type players who can also weigh in with a fair amount of goals from midfield, which we've been lacking for about twenty odd years. But...if Nolan couldn't find a starting spot in a team led by his mentor Sam Allardyce last season, we probably wouldn't squeeze anything out of him now.

Isn't Nolan's fitness a problem?

I say that as West Ham suddenly released him in August. O.k he wasn't in Bilic's plans but why has no one else taken him on? Last I heard he was training with Leyton Orient which suggests he's done at the top level.

I can't stand the bugger either, he must've scored more against us down the years than even Defoe!

It might not be the case, but it certainly feels like that since football began in '92 every last shit stain club has claimed more points against us than any other. Every other bloody striker has scored more goals against us than anyone else and at least 2 out of 3 goalkeepers have recorded more clean sheets than anyone else.

And I'm f¤¤king fed up to the bleedin' back f##king teeth of hearing it.

Surely today was their first opportunity to do so?

Suspect being an ex Geordie will be a major factor in addition to the fact he's crap these days.

As a free agent it wasn't though was it? He could have been training there and registered officially today?

Anyone take Kevin Nolan?

There was a link on Twitter earlier. How old is he these days?

Only slightly younger than his sisters.

Don't Make Waves.

Appalling isn't it? Being reduced to considering taking Nolan at this stage in his career. I absolutely despise Lerner and Fox. Completely wrecked a great club. When is Mr Coward Lerner going to make an appearance out of the shadows? He owes us one mighty explanation for the last 5 years. Bright future?

Not a problem for their manager, mind.
