We will end up with a last day scramble to get Crouch and Adam in on loan with Sorensen being bought back to replace Guzan.

Back Garde for loans and free transfers only please Villa.

Take a look at him for the remaining games, move on to pastures new if he turns out to be merde as I suspect he may well be.

Are there any FA rules that prevent us from selling everyone?

I suspect the only impediment is that they are all worthless shitbags whom no one in their right mind would want to employ as professional footballers

As someone wiser than me once said :

I think only Ayew will be sought by others come May. No one would keep us up with our current back 4 and midfield.

Mile Jedinak, James Chester, all meh signings in the premier league. However we have to look to the long term and those are the sorts we'd need for the championship, players who are experienced at that level and can roll their sleeves up and battle and scrap on bleak midweeks in Rotherham.

I know Dave was making the point on here a few days ago that teams like Derby don't play like that down there but they still had a solid core of experienced campaigners like Baird, Warnock, Keogh that allows their ball playing central midfielders to flourish.

We need a similar structure to allow our flair players the platform to then win games for us....if we actually have any left. Or the other option is just lumping the ball up to Gestede and hope he thinks he's still playing for Blackburn which fills me with dread.

Buy all the best championship players and give them five months of premier league football.

heh. You could imagine him proposing that, but the reality is we haven't got the money.  I'd still prefer us to stick to the loan market rather than buy a few players for a lost cause. If we get 25m for ayew, gil, vertout, Traore and hopefully a few more in the summer, then  we'll have reasonable transfer fund to give to whoever's managing us.

Said Jedinak for weeks. In and captain for me. Chester in the summer as I doubt they would let him go yet is ideal.

We will need wingers too that can supply. I would love us to go get Matt Phillips but I doubt he would come.

If only we have signed Austin and Phillips in the summer.

We need to sign Steve Austin and be taken over by Philips.
