Why don't we just pull a big fuck off white flag out and tell the other sides in the division that we have accepted relegation as our fate.

I can see Randy and co keeping their powder dry until summer, just in case we need a new manager as well.

A couple of throws of the dice at short term loans would be my guess.

We need some Greek players.

There must be fantastic value to be had in Greece.

Randy/Paddy get on the case.

After 20 games last season, Leicester had 14 points only 6 more than we have at the moment and they survived

Changing managers is crazy. The problems started long before Garde came and he's only been able to work with what he found at the club. Garde will have had a good amount of time to see what the problems are, know the personalities of the players and be much better positioned to make the right changes come the summer than somebody who start with a clean slate.

and 6 points less would have seen them relegated or perhaps stayed up on goal difference. People need to forget the Leicester thing because in football terms it is bizarre.. It's pretty much a one off and for every team where something "clicked", there's 10 teams who pretty much went down without a whimper. Good luck to them but suggesting we're gonna produce an escape act better than they managed is stretching common sense to the limit for me, especially the way we're playing

Looking at the stats in l'equipe ,Congre seems to have been a regular for his two Ligue 1 clubs and despite 2 injury hit seasons has played over 300 games and also represented France U21s. Suggests more pedigree than Luna,Crespo etc and a possible upgrade on Bacuna or Hutton.

He looks like a fairly experienced defender. If he can defend great. At the end of the day we will still need a decent defender next season

We don't need to go that far TV, they already know that. As, it appears, do all our players judging by the shit they serve up every match

Maybe but a pacey right-back who's game is all about his speed getting to 30? Usually the pace is what they're about, and once the pace is gone, the defensive side is bollocks. if he's costing us peanuts then by all means but a 30 year old for 3m+ about to experience his 1st visit to the dark regions of the championship. fuck that. Save the money, wait for the summer so we know who is on board for the journey. As i said on another thread there's the basis of a good championship side there. Buy a good championship right-back Players like bacuna/luna get them out if possible. Walking calamities like hutton would probably do a job in the championship. FFS buy a midfielder who can put his foot in and let the others play though. We need a hard bastard in there for the championship

We need a couple of experienced heads in midfield that can win the ball and keep it, but more importantly set the tone for the rest of the side.

But this guy seems to be cheap due to his contact, fairly athletic and able to play across the back. Crespo was meant to do that but seems to be missing in action

He played for Leicester the other night so I can't see them letting him go, but Inler is exactly the type of player you have mentioned.

Oh agree Inler is perfect but I think we need a couple like that to sell a project to and get them to lead. Said the other day Pulis pulled a rabbit out with Fletcher last January. We need a couple of experienced buy quality midfielders to galvanise the side. It would help at both ends.
