nothing's too late until it mathematically is.

Whilst factually that's true, it's not actually realistic. In practice it can be too late way before it becomes a mathematical certainty.

Well if we are going to be signing players like Remy we will be out of the Champo in no time

There is a cautionary note to this leak though, don't get the fans all geared up for a top class striker only to end up with a bargain basement dud

I think he'd only be on loan for 6 months.

I imagine that given our situation we might be looking at quality loans with a view to permanent moves. There is no doubt that we are less than an attractive proposition right now for players looking to join us permanently.

Pat Bamford sounds like a JCB driver.

Like what he appears to be doing with Remy, I think it would be a great idea to get a bunch of loanees in like him. Players who won't necessarily sign for us, but players who are at a club they either need to impress or want to go and play elsewhere and so generate themselves a move. In the process we don't waste loadsamoney on anyone when the inevitable happens.

Do Chelsea/Man City/Arsenal not have players who want to be loaned out to play games?

Is there a limit of loan signings?

Pat Hanford sounds like a JCB driver.

The B of JCB is Bamford's family apparently (or did you know that?).

More chance of Richards becoming positionally aware in the next week than Remy signing.
If Rémi Garde gets Loïc Rémy, I am getting a bottle of Rémy Martin VSOP*

I think we will get Remy. I doubt Garde would be speaking like that if it was unlikely he would sign.

If Chelsea bring in another striker it's possible but otherwise I doubt he will.

We will end up with bamford instead

Get them both and get rid of gabby and Kozak.

Would love to see Toulalan and Inler join too and Cole at left back, just to add experience and a bit of class(I know Cole is probably 3 years apart his best but would be better than Bacuna there).

We have been missing a bit of class in the centre of misfiled ever since Stan had to retire, an experienced head in there who keeps hold of the ball and brings others into the game would be great. Toulalan with Veretout and Gana either side would be a nice balanced midfield.

As much as Remy would be great, I can't help but feel he will have much better options should he be allowed to leave.
