It's a Twitter rumour so treat with caution but there's a suggestion we may be in talks with Debuchy for a six month loan move from Arsenal.

I'd take that. Be great to get Flamini too.

Debuchy is a good player, but we have bigger issues than Hutton

You're not going to get £20 million for a player with a month of good performances behind him and which mythical two in three striker would join us now?

Already said i 'd take Remy on loan and while not perhaps 2 in 3, i think he'd give us something we haven't had for a long while.  A direct striker. He'd probably suit Gestade for a start. Obviously them 2 and ayew would be preferable

The Ayew you want to sell?

No, please don't answer that. It's late. Merry Christmas.

I'd bloody keep him. I thought i'd made that clear. but considering we're 20m short of a premiership side, god knows how many points from safety, and Lerner isn't gonna bail us out, there are times when,  y'know...

A Merry Christmas to you as well. I'm not religious so don't celebrate it, but a Happy christmas to all Godbotherers on here

Lovely. While I am non religious too, there is no need for the latter insult to those who are.

To be fair if there are one group of people who are deserving of at least our scorn and derision tis those that adhere noisily to any religion?

Good-natured fun-poking is all fine and well, and you can be as rude as you like about the beliefs and ideas themselves. However, having 'scorn' for 'godbotherers', the actual people, just strikes me as a bit dickish.

Well i'm sorry you found the term godbotherers offensive Monty. I've always found it a rather jokey term to describe someone of faith with none of the dire consequences attached to it that some of the terms they use for non-believers such as myself have. Its not an anti-christian thing but anyone who believes in a supernatural skypilot, If i offended anyone then apologies but i rather think they're made of sterner stuff myself.

If i was a Christian though, I would find it offensive to be, at best ignored by the rest of the population for 51 weeks of the year and then find during your most sacred festival, every non-believer starts singing your hymns, letting their kids do nativity plays and generally hijacking the whole event so they can have a giant piss-up/shopping spree.

No we cannot.

Why is He flooding The North when no Ark Building guidance has been issued?

No problem sickbeggar, I sometimes use the word myself and it's all a laugh. Sort of. And I'm not a believer in anything but the Force.

And Adrenachrome, it's because The North is not meant to be saved.

Anyway, can Debuchy play left back too? That would make a bit more sense.

Gomis wants out of Swansea.

He spent the bulk of his career at Lyon, so that might be one to look at.

If the choice is out of us or semi retirement in the Middle East, he might go for it.

Not an assured goalscoring record, by any means, but surely more of a footballer than Justhead.

Debuchy was saying a few weeks back that he might leave Arsenal as he needs to be playing regularly in time for the euros.

What does Hutton actually do.  I do not think he is any good anywhere near his own penalty area or the opposition penalty area.  He runs ok between the two penalty areas but that's about it and that is not enough.

Gomis gets caught offside more often than Savo.

We ran out of wood generations ago. A combination of acid rain from all the soot and all the healthy trees being chopped down the make clogs.

inclined to agree with you, based on the number of times he gets in attacking position his assist rate is poor.

A left back and a striker are the absolute priorities, followed by a keeper who doesn't scare us all to death and a leader in midfield that can pick a pass.  It's a big ask!
