Just because something correlates, it doesn't mean that one is the cause of the other.

You sound a laugh, i'm not saying he's the reason for us masterminding the anfield victory, just thought it was worth mentioning that we didn't actually do badly with him in the side

Gil must have more than one win - Bournemouth in the FA Cup last season

He played against the Bitters in the cup as well, even if it was just a few mins it still counts as his sub appearances when we haven't won counted.

Scary statistic about Gil that!

Not really. (a) because it's made up, and (b) because it's no more relevant or incisive than Gareth Bale going dozens of games for Spurs without winning.

He said in the summer he had no interest in leaving QPR to join another club in a relegation fight and was better off staying at the club (or words to that effect), we might as well go for Messi and Neymar as well.

Maybe so but I also think he expected QPR to be closer to the promotion places. As it stands who would he prefer in a week or so, or expect to be back in the Prem with, if its a choice between a doomed Villa or a mid-table Championship QPR?

And (c), we're shite. Any Villa player's win ratio is going to look poor considering we never win.

He's out of contract in the Summer so I expect he'll wait to see if he gets a better offer than a choice between two Division Two teams.

I do hope we move Gil on he is rather poor. Get a defensive midfielder in who can get the ball dictate the pace of play, and also get a foot in.

And our most creative player.

Still, it's not like we need to score more goals or anything.

Maybe get Lee Cattermole in instead?

Gil isn't poor. He's one of our only players who wants the ball. The problem is we stick him out on the wing rather than the #10 position as I like to call it.

Gil is our most creative player? And with that sentence it is clear to see why we are going down.

It's probably more to do with a shit manager who kindly wrote off the first quarter of the season for us.
