how many loans players can we have until End of season apart from the Liverpool defender. Just wondering. is it 2 ?

We can only have two from PL clubs at any one time I believe - I think it is up to four from abroad though.

It would be a chance for Ashley Cole to get his career back on track so it's a question of his attitude.

Really? He's be to us what Rio Ferdinand was to QPR.

Ferdinand was completely shot fitness wise.

We need a short term solution at left back, and Cole is miles better than Bacuna or Richardson there.

Bring Cissokho back too from Porto and have some competition there.

Lescott is our Rio.

Cole hasn't played for a long while so yes that is a worry but just look at his career, it's lightyears ahead of anything we've had at left back for ages.

To be fair, with Scotlands finest ever right back on the other side, we would be sorted.

Struggling to focus too much on this window as there is a lot of football to be played until then, and if things go badly the window could be futile. However, if we are in touch I think Steven Naismith who is reportedly available would strengthen us, hard-working player who knows the league well and scores goals.

we will be in the bottom three come the window probably bottom,
unfortunately this will affect the sort/type of player we will attract more than anything this time

Unless Garde can pull of a masterstroke? Maybe a few short-term signings until the end of the season.

Yes it is. I'm not sure what's gone at Everton for him. Martinez seemed to get the best out of him for a while but he's not getting a game now.

I don't think it's anything more strange than you're just not going to play him ahead of Lukaku, Deulofeu, Kone or Barkley.

Not sure he is what we need, an occaisional goal scoring midfielder that is usefull but hardly dominant. Jedinak is more like it.
