Gk
Mark Schwerzer
Experienced professional would give good competition to Guzan. With courtois coming back an begovic to be back up the big aussie could do a job and experienced would b crucial in dressing room. Decent pro and competitive.he's out of contract in summer.

Defence
There's a french left back at Swansea who does get game time Frank tabanou who's decent too. A loan would be good.
Similarly there is a competent spainish full ball enrqiue at liverpool . The left back ,who is out of contact maybe, worth a loan to buy.
Bardsley isn't getting game time. Solid and committed player who has hard work and knows a relegation battle would add steel.

Midfield
I think likes of Andy king and Stephen Pienarr on loan from Leicester and Everton. Goal scoring midfielders to help supplement attack. Depending where Qpr are languishing in January a bid for matty Phillips. A reason being he's got good footy skillz , direct running and shootings. This would be an alternative to the enigmatic Ben arta.
Another one to highlight from the championship is mo mo diame of hull. Powerhouse midfielder.
Sengal team mate of idrassa and French speaking.

Striker
Austin out of contract in summer
Odemwingie goal scorer out of contract in summer short-term deal
Joel Campbell loan from arsenal
Fraizer Campbell palace pacey forward worth a go.

Players
Schwerzer
Tabanou
Enrique
Bardsley
King
Pienarr
Phillips
Ben artu
Townsend
Diame
Joie Allen
Flamini
Arteta
Kaka
Kazir
Braitwaite
Austin
Giovincho
Diaby
Dempsey
Okaka
Odemwingie
Campbell Joel
Campbell Frazer

There's also potential for some others outside premier league and i mention them here from my list and extensive scouting , rumours and other tid bits.

Like mls players. Stranger things have happened but a Ricardo kaka or perhaps Giovincho or Clint Dempsey coming over.

Belgian league
Striker wise my scouting tells me abdoulay diaby would be on radar. Currently plying his trade in Belgian he's a french speaking Mali goalscorer. Having a good season and one villa may be looking at. He's only just joined brugge but a decent offer would see him here. Okaka Chuka may b a bit more difficult to prize away from andrelect but would be worth getting too.

Ligue 1
In France the players who could be coming are likes of Martin braithwaite and whabi kazir. Attacking midfielders who would certainly add something to villa going forward.

It's never not than 8 players signed in a winter window but I would not be surprised if villa linked and sign some of these.

and we can get good international players out of favour for their club if they really want game time before Euros 2016. We can use this to our advantage.

If he's free of injury I'd take carroll on loan.

I normally laugh at Villakicks suggestions, but maybe we should start looking ahead to the Championship. What's Nolan up to these days? Is it time for the triumphant return of NRC?

There is no point. Get to the summer, and make sure we get a wide man to feed Gestede, and a couple of big hard bastards in defence and midfield. Do that we will come straight back. The scouting for the championship should start now though.

At this rate, the January and summer windows will be with a view to getting us promoted at the first attempt.

think Felliani would be a good shout on loan, presume Moyes will look to bring him to Newcastle

We'll be too far adrift in January.

We're already 8 points off safety, a lot of games between now and a fair few in January so really with our form it's going to be double figures very soon.

There is no point doing Darren Bent style sigings as that will further mess up the club financially unless you put in relegation release clauses.

I imagine we'll get in as many loans as we can possibly do from here and abroad.

I agree, it will be about reorganising the squad in line with next seasons revenue.

We might get some decent crowds next season, I think everyone will be quite excited about seeing a few wins.

We need:

A guaranteed goalscorer
A top Keeper
A left back that can cross the ball
An experienced commanding central defender
A marauding, hard tackling, goalscoring central midfielder.

None of which we can afford.

None of which would consider coming here.

And even if we could get them,  you'd be amazed if they settled and performed straight away.

sorry boys, its over for us. we need snookers as it is.
