He won't but he is good enough short term. Player well twice this week.

Reckon it'll be some forward from Ligue 1 who most of us won't have heard of but who will actually sound quite decent as more reports come out about him.

Hopefully that process is already well underway.

I personally don't think we need anybody.

Guzan has been well below par so far this season and Gestede has severe deficiencies. But I expect Guzan to get back to a reasonable standard and Ayew/Kozak to pick up some real form before January. I'm happy enough with our defence and midfield. Unless there is a clearly superior (and more importantly, available) option out there, I'd keep the money in the pocket until the summer.

We need a striker in January and a good one at that.

Without doubt.

I would go after that guy Kozak from Lazio. Had a bad injury so he is bound to be rusty but we would get him for peanuts.

Chelsea will probably update their goalkeeper as Begovic has been a nightmare so far this season and the Chelsea fans don't like him

so he might be for sale for about 10mill,
he is worse than Guzan and wouldnt be any improvement on him, but many on here wanted him and we were obviously interested in pre season

For me, a right back and a striker.

Poor old Hutton.  Arguably one of our players of the season last year and one of our few decent performers this year and he still can't shake the useless clogger tag with some people.

A goalkeeper hopefully, a striker definitely or we're relegated. Simple as that. As good as yesterday's result was, we went 90 mins without a shot on target. Not that I'm blaming Garde for that, he's inherited a squad without a goalscorer to rely on. Has to be his priority in January.

Four fornicholl,

I too have already suggested Alexandre Lacazette. I'm fairly certain that he is one that Remi brought through from the Lyon youth system when he was there. Just need to be able to afford the £20 million they will want for him. PS:Scored a hat trick again for Lyon yesterday!!
He's also well in sight of breaking into the French national squad and, although he's not overly tall seems to head in quite a few goals plus shoots from the edge of the area and normally finds the back of the net. Looks like a really exciting player to me.

We would have all said that centre back was a priority until yesterday, and probably a goalkeeper would have been thought essential too. Remi's only had three days but he's managed to transform the defence - if we give him a couple of months on the attack then we'll know whether or not we need a new striker.

Michy Batshuayi.

Sorted.

Victor Valdez would be ideal

Need to improve the goal threat in the team somehow, Jordan Ayew seems best suited to lead the line but his record is far from prolific. The players supporting him - Gil, Grealish, Veretout, Sinclair, Traore all need to step up with goals.

I think we are ok at right back with Hutton, Richards and even Crespo.

Remi is looking at Mainz's keeper Loris Karius, according to some reports. Remy from the Chavs would be nice.
