Off to see Sir Paul Mcgrath at the Irish Centre tonight. Reliving some past glories might cheer me up. Maybe I'll be looking forward to Sunday with less dread after a few beers and hopefully meeting the great man himself. Oooh aaahh

Give him an Oooh Ahhh Paul McGrath from me!
Done!

42% think Villa won't lose, quite staggering really given the gulf in glass and difference in form. Let's hope they are proved right.

I see folk keep picking Ilori but has anyone actually seen him play, in the squad or on the bench because I would not even know what he looks like never mind pick him in the squad

And as for having blind faith - its what is exciting about this league is that if we were to win it would not be THAT surprising as it happens a lot during a premiership season

For how limited Gestede is, I'd have him upfront in preference to Ayew. Would play him left and Gil right of Gestede, who for me just doesnt seem fit. The game he played against Liverpool for Blackburn last, he was athletic and dynamic, albit one game. For us he looks like he's got his boots on the wrong feet.

I'm still giving him the benefit of the doubt at this point as he didn't play much at all in pre-season.  Can't see him being more than an impact sub for us in the long term, but he's got to be giveh a chance.

Leave him alone. He's doing just fine making a spectacle of himself.

I'd play 5 in midfield versus Man City including two wingers. Two up front would leave us way too open.

Adama could surprise them being a bit of an unknown quantity. Especially up against Kolarov. Who knows his pace might even win us a penalty.
I'd give Adama a good 70 mins, and then bring Sinclair on.

Gestede as much as I want him to succeed reminds me of that big shaggy loveable dog in the park that chases everything.
Oh there's a duck over the other side I'll go chase that
Looks up there's a cat where I've just come from so bounds back over to the other side. then as he runs after the cat runs into a bin then sees the duck so chases it into the pond.

Bless him
