Normally read these with a great deal of interest, but without commenting.

However, this one is a brilliant, insightful, clear-headed evaluation of where we are and should be emailed / faxed / carrier pigeoned to M. Garde for essential bed time reading.

Great stuff.

Very good, especially this bit:

"A squad strong enough to have Veretout, Amavi, Ayew and Gil on the bench should be able to compete in the Premier League without many problems. A side with Richardson, Lescott, Bacuna, Westwood and Agbonlahor starting will struggle in the Championship."

And you can add "rested" Gana, which makes you wonder even more about that team selection.

Good piece .

Agbonlahor . That was nail on head for me. Another reason what is so bad in this great club.

A very good assessment of our situation with the sense of hope that all of us on here possess.

Another good read Mr Woodhall.

A very good read Dave.
I am glad you point out the 'little things'. We are seen as a laughing stock in some circles, but as fans we shouldnt have to accept it as read.
I'll guess the vast majority of fans are sick of the riducule that we now get. The sniggering on national TV last night was disgraceful (although entirely understandable).

The whole club needs to fight back.

It might but as of the other week they had their head stuck up their arse and cancelled every meeting with fans until after Christmas.
