We're playing a new and special brand of dispossession style football...it's all part of a master plan.

We need to play Gil all the time. Not sure how good he is but he seems immune to the depression the rest of them have

Whoever said it's not over till the final whistle was talking bollox. Is anybody here at all holding out any hope of any positive possibly happening during the next 30 minutes ? It's a complete and utter waste of the next half hour of our lives even watching. Why are we even bothering ?

There is always the meaningless last minute Sinclair goal to look forward to!

There's more chance of me getting all 6 numbers on Lotto tonight.

Grealish being played centrally is doing him no favours whatsoever. He just gets bullied out of it, and he has nobody to link up with. Play him wide and get him to beat his man and run into the box ffs. It used to work. Why can't we play to our players' strengths?

thought he was one of the only positives on the left against Southampton, tonight he didnt want to know

England senior international, fucking hell no where near

Keiran Richardson reminds me of Craig Charles.

He combines the appearance of Craig Charles with the positional sense of Ray Charles.

I don't think that Jack has the pace to play out wide

Maybe, but I don't think pace is so important for him, since he can stand up his defender and kind of walk him backwards while retaining possession. We've seen him do it time  and again, and it causes huge problems for defenders because they can't get he ball off him when he's turned and facing them.

This team literally has no redeeming features.  No leaders, no cohesion, no passion, no cutting edge.  The only thing it has in spades is calamity.

How many times do we concede possession from our own throw-ins. Even the simple stuff seems beyond our players

What we wouldn't do for a Gary Charles right now.

Commentator : Villa haven't done enough in front of goal.

Actually getting in the general vicinity of the goal while in posession of the football would be a start.
