8 touches for Gabby including two kick offs

Don't know whether to laugh or cry.

I think you have to laugh.  Everyone else seems to.

If you Captain of an Aston Villa team , the manager names you the heart of the club and you put in a half like that...its not funny. Its beyond sad. Its tragic.

K-mac was talking up Gabby before the game.

I think that sums up K-Mac's eye for a player.

The only thing KMac did worse than pick that starting eleven was the sub he made - seriously, Ayew for westwood, when Veretout and Gil are sat there. At least Gabby's off now

Gabby touched the ball 8 times in the first half the lowest of any Premier League player this season and two of them were him kicking off, pathetic.

Gabby has been taking the living piss for years.

He is an absolute fucking joke. Our acceptance of mediocrity personified.

It wouldn't shock me if Gabby took himself off after putting in such a shift in the first half.

Remi thats one hell of a job you are taking on, but at least play your best players..........

Watching this, we look to me like a team which has decided it is relegated already, so what's the point.

I can not believe MacDonald thought this was our best line up, I genuinely refuse to believe it.

If there's even a hint of this being some sort of "fuck you, this is for Tim" gesture, I'd sack him on the spot.

To be honest he should be investigated for match fixing. That's how obviously bad that starting line up was.

Pundit openly taking the piss out of Gabby now

They're not taking the piss out of Gabby, they're taking the piss out of us that we can only get the ball to our striker 6 times.

Decent challenge by Lescott, finally.

Shame it was on Sanchez.

The one good thing MacDonald has done is sub that fat waste of space.
