After his last team selection why was he allowed to pick another? Definately trouble in the ranks these pesky foreigners upsetting the gravy train.

Pundits sniggering! What a shambles our club is, a laughing stock. Lerner deserves loads of stick - what sort of leader is he? Stuck in New York I bet....!

Kmac has put his own personal views and gripes to the forefront. Ahead of AVFC.

I hope it works, but if it fails as I expect then I am very disappointed in his attitude. (Egg on face please)

Smart from KMac. Let Remi Garde see in the flesh just how worthless half of those players are and he'll soon drop 'em into the reserves.

Planning for the long term.  8)

Fuck me what absolute shit.

It genuinely looks like active sabotage.

2 selections completely at odds with any plausible sense. Looks far more like Kmac is showing solidarity for Sherwood than anything else to me.

I can only assume that this is KMacs final flicking of the 'V's' to Lerner and Fox- IF it is then I for one would not be sorry to see him go. It is,in my opinion, a pathetic piece of flag waving jingoism that forgets that tonight the most important people at White Hart Lane are those supporters that have spent their hard earned cash buying tickets and travel to watch Aston Villa FC. Shame on you MacDonald and Goodbye.

I would see it as protecting the players remi will be trying to get the best out of over the coming months, cause im pretty sure half the starting 11 tonight will be in the shadows by feb

Twenty-seven games now to save the season, Remi, because we are getting nothing out of this absolutely ridiculous lineup.

I fear our goal difference is going to get a hammering

Ayew must be gutted, he does well and scores against Swansea and then is dropped for next two games. It's a disgustingly poor line up that has a cliched jingoistic sentiment of 'we need the British boys in there to show character.' If that is KMac's attitude I'd be tempted to remove him from any role within the club, we don't need that sort of mindset at the club.
possibility of a bit of a rift in the dressing room
brits v French
Richards alluded to it at the weekend with his comments about speaking English
does make you wonder

If that's true then selecting a team that further widens that rift is fucking idiotic.
all the old school brits having a quiet word in kmacs shell like ?

Trying to think positively...maybe this lineup wants to show the new boss they not as bad as their record and put in a performance. Wishful thinking?

Even the sky pundits are flummoxed by the team. They are sniggering at it.

Pre-match they usually find something positive to say about any line-up. Neville even said 'there is an element of discontent in that selection'.

Unbelievable response from both Carragher and Neville. I don't remember seeing anything like that on Sky before.

I'm worried that Remi may think this is the preferred Villa line-up from now on.
