That is one shite team selection, put a tenner on us to win at 15/2, had a couple of quid of Gabby first scorer @16/1 (a striker @ 16/1 ffs), but the paddy power has a new app and are giving 3/1 for Kane to score anytime so put a fiver on, so it is likely I will end the night 3 quid in profit

Villa caretaker boss Kevin MacDonald on Sky Sports on his contact with Remi Garde: "I've not spoken to him, he sent me a text and hopefully he will get here on time to watch the game, but I understand that there have been problems with the plane.

"I've picked the side, and brought in a few players from the under-21s. It's up to Remi whether he wants to be involved tonight. He might see something up in the stands and want to change it."

I'm pretty sure that he will.

Is that all the new signings not starting?

Lescott - and I guess Richards probably would have done if available.

That's shocking. It's like a big fuck you to all the French lot coming over here stealing jobs off the Brits. Kmac did say he owes Sherwood a big thank you.

Can I be the first to say ..... KMac OUT!

Seconded! What the fuck is KMAC playing at? He's doing his level best to get us relegated. Crespo instead of Okore? Who's not even on the bench. Weak insipid line up - so many players there out of form.

I may be being thick here (not the first time), but exactly which players in that line-up has he brought in from the under-21's?

Right, fuck this.  I'm going to turn off the internet, my phone and not watch or listen to any broadcast media, until I'm sure the final whistle has gone.

See you on the other side.

God only knows.

Manager using players that he knows most about rather than the ones that he doesn't is the best I can come up with.

Good Lord that is one negative line up.  Sorry Kevin, but you've got both of the team selections you've made badly wrong.

Can you make substitutions before a game starts?

Twenty-seven games now to save the season, Remi, because we are getting nothing out of this absolutely ridiculous lineup.

I can only assume he means Clark and Grealish. Which is a pretty bold claim.

If he does mean Clark as one of them, then it's nearly as daft as claiming that he's brought Gabby in from the U21s.
