If Sherwood had picked that team we'd all be saying he's done it intentionally because he wants to get fired.

Is Kmac must think the summer signings are shit too lmao, I'm sorry but that bloke is fucking clueless, thank god we have a manager already in place now. That is one of the worst line ups I've seen in nearly 30 years supporting Villa.

The bench looks ok, most of the talent on the sidelines. Fucking Westwank doing bugger all, he will get destroyed again tonight, 90 minutes of Gabby gorming around the pitch, laughing when he fucks up and Richardson looking knackered after 50 minutes.

I'm saving myself two hours of being pissed off and getting angry and I'm having an early night. Can't wait for Garde to take over and remove this little Englander thicko thing we've got going on at the moment. Laughable line up.

That's truly awful.  Hoping for a 0-0 at best.  Shocking use of resources.

Hopefully Remi will take over at half-time.

would fucking love it,just love it if we started the second half and hes sat on the bench
he is our manager now so surely he would be allowed
Agreed. It has happened before relatively recently but I can't remember where?

It does mate me wonder what they see all week during training that makes these lineups look like that?

Are we that bereft of any talent that this is a good first 11 based on the training output?

Food for thought eh....

Unconvinced, but at least Gestede isn't playing.

It can't be coincidence that nearly all the summer signings are being left out.

Shades of McLeish playing for the 0-2 defeat at WHL three or four years ago. It's as if KMac is scared that the ''foreign lads'' will shrink and shrivel (their willies might in the cold and fog but that's not the point) against a Spurs side in-form, knocking their confidence further and this more experienced line-up gives us a chance of a draw.

How do you even get to the two line ups he's sent out this week? Fuck me, it's harder to pick that 11 than not pick it. Not one person on here would have ever come close to that team.

One positive on that lineup, Remi will see these players in action and hopefully will not fall into the trap of playing the so called 'experienced' players and find out they are crap in his actual first game.

Lescott - and I guess Richards probably would have done if available.

Maybe it's part of a cunning plan - KMac picks a shit awful line up with the remnants of last season's squad; we get spanked; Garde picks his first line-up using the summer signings; we get a result against Citeh; job done - Remi looks brilliant, Sherwood looks a twat, and the media have to eat humble pie.

Too late to draft Heskey in to play on the wing? Might just be an improvement ffs.
