Sherwood's list of baffling cock ups is indeed impressive but our players too have not been shy in the avoidable error department.  Shooting ourselves in the foot seems to have been a feature of our club for a few years now.

Did anybody see the article in a morning paper today, where it listed the average distance run by a player during a game.

Villa were bottom of the league, which makes how unfit we look unsurprising, and indicative of us not working hard enough

Or because they don't know where and when to run.

I think it's been noticeable this season how unfit the players look - plenty of them look knackered after 60-70 minutes.  It no doubt contributes to a lot of the individual errors and the late capitulations.

Again, something that has been the case for years now.

And because they all stand still when we have the ball.

I think if Garde gets his coach in (Robert Something) who was here when Houillier was here we could see a fitter side. It was apparent under Houillier/Gary Mac that the team were fitter towards the end of their time here.

I bet we are/were the only club with a fitness coach with a beer belly.

Not a good example to set.
