Kmac seems to find it amusing. Odd reaction.

I think he was commiserating with the fourth official about the mouthful he had just received from Hutton

Hutton applauding a crap pass?

No, applauding the idea Sanchez had. Hutton should have committed to the run rather than halting

Amavi and Sanchez look impressive so far

Gestede and Bacuna don't look premier league level at all
not at game just listening to talk sport and following updates on here. Bit confused. Fans at the game giving Gestede pelters. Reporter at the game saying he is "unplayable" and Saints defenders can't handle him. WTF?

He's not . They can!
According to the reporters they' ain't!

Nope, they definitely are.
According to the neutral reporters they are struggling to cope with him.

Yes, I'm not misunderstanding what you're saying.

Irrespective of that, they're still coping.
well as the  scoreline is 0-0 they are obviously coping. Reports are saying they are struggling to. Semantics I guess.

Seen the goal.
Tragic.
Crespo central defender is quite a bizarre idea. He is a right back and in his role he was reserve in my local team in the Italian Serie B.
Never I would have thought that he could play in the Villa starting XI as central defender.

54 minutes in lads, not 90. Lets just enjoy the rest of the match. Make some subs and have a go. You know, why not?

This

I think that's what's known as the triumph of hope over experience.

Outmanouvered in midfield. The old MON problem.
We have been outmanoeuvred in the middle for years come to think of it.

We've been outmanoevered everywhere on the sodding pitch for years! We're stuck in a perpetual nightmare.   :(

Enjoy what mate? Another loss, another 0, another game with barely any shots?

Guzan nearly kills Hutton, obviously not much communication going on

Looks like that was our good half, after all. We've been abject since half-time.

Westwood really should do better there. Easy goalscoring chance and he toe poked it right at the keeper.
