We are playing pretty well so far better than I expected given the line up

our midfield two have been quiet so far, would have preferred Amavi left back and Rico further up

I played wide and I thought crossing the ball into someone's path was one of the easiest parts of the game....our lot obviously don't.

Like how Bacuna stops the ball and takes a run up at it.  Talk about telegraphing your intent.

Well, it's really really ugly stuff, but at least it's vaguely competent and effective ugly stuff.

We don't look any different to me. Maybe more organised in defence. But we're still offering sod all going forward.

'More organised in defence' is pretty much what I meant. At least the horror makes sense.

Amavi is still clearly our best player. Good job leaving him on the bench Dim Tim.

I wonder what sort of team would Paul Lambert pick from the current line up or say someone like Ron Atkinson or Brian Little.

My team would be

Bunn,
Ilori, Okore, Clark, Amavi
Sanchez, Gana
Veretout
Ayew, Kozak, Tratore

For tonight game. But I am not the manager/caretaker

Exactly, frustrates me so much watching "professional" footballers who don't look "professional" at all.

Ron Atkinson would definitely pick Ray Houghton.

Amavi completely did their right-back, got in behind but slipped over.
