Tim Sherwood just on SSN..."It's a cup final for us...we 'll be on the front foot, I couldn't get anymore centre forwards on the pitch to be honest today"...a cup final you say? Well looks like we're going to lose 4-0 again then. *facepalm*

Says it all really.

What the fudge is that lineup?! Richardson, Bacuna, Agbonlahor, our team and squad is piss poor and today's ridiculous lineup has highlighted it even more.

Hope he proves me wrong but Swansea are a team who like to pass the ball and control possession, and he hasn't picked a midfield.

0-2, Swansea with 65%+ possession.

We're so crap I doubt we can complete the pre-kick off communal arse lick and high fiving without messing it up. 0-3 defeat today I reckon with 3 more bolt on defeats to follow. Grim times at the Villa. Still, have a good afternoon everyone.

They have a decent midfield so this is Tim's cunning plan to completely bypass it.  He's well and truly lost the plot.  On that note, watch us fkin win now!!!

Now, it is a very weird team, but let's not pre-judge it. Swansea are out of form, and if the players really go at it early on we could get a big win. I know it doesn't exactly seem likely, and it's not the team any of us would have chosen, but let's see.

Because that sort of line up worked so well against Notts County Tim. Effing chancer.

Swansea 8/5 to win this. Should be like printing free money.

I pray I'll eat loads of humble pie but I'm sat here wondering why the fuck I'm here to see such a fucking mental lineup as this.

Given that line up, a draw would feel very welcome right now. Traore and Gil on the bench, at home, when he REALLY needs a win? Crazy.

That's how I felt at kick off v Stoke. You sit there in hope but know the selection is all wrong and defeat looms.

That possibly ranks as one of the worst first 11's I've ever seen us put out. Fucking abysmal. It's not even just the quality of player either, it's that it just has absolutely zero balance.

It may just be so ridiculous that it works and we win, but the reality will probably be a thoroughly unsurprising Swansea victory. And they'll barely need to break sweat.
