Strange decision that it was, Richardson did ok at left back last week. What about Amavi at right back tomorrow, he played there for France u21 earlier in the season and scored and will be up against their most dangerous player Monteiro? Will be an interesting team selection overall

So I'm guessing tactics Tim will line them up as follows -

----------- Guzan --------------
Hutton Richards lescott Ricarhdson

Gil westwood Gana Grealish

--- Gabby --- Gestede ---------

Looks shit, very small and light weight. The midfield will be dominated.

I think Sanchez will be in for Westwood and maybe Vertout for Gabby. Swansea did look dodgy at the back the other night from what I saw

Guzan needs to be dropped.

For who? Bunn was third choice at Norwich.

aj2k77, I don't want Richards at right back, he is our best defender and has been excellent. However, you may well have a point for the Swansea game as Monteiro is their best player and he will contain him.

I'm quietly confident that when the team is announced at 2pm that it will cause some comments which on the generous side will be along the lines of "well that's brave/interesting" to the less generous "what the fuck is he trying to do now?".

I think everyone will have different opinions, lets be honest how many places are nailed on? Richards, Gana? I would have thought Amavi but maybe not

Swansea have two very slow fullbacks. I wouldn't be surprised to see 4-4-2 with Traore and Amavi played as genuine wingers with Gestede and Gabby as the strikers. Gueye and Westwood as a midfield two and Richardson and Hutton the fullbacks again. Just have a feeling.

Currently, our best defender by a mile is Clark.
