2-0 home win and finally, for the umpteenth time in the last few years, we'll turn the corner and go on a winning streak sending us up to the dizzy heights of mid-table. Or perhaps not.

So not looking forward to this game, and it really shouldn`t be like this.

Very little enthusiasm but will drag my sorry ass there just in case...

Ideally we'll win and still sack Sherwood. Proper win-win.

On the bright side if we are going to win our usual half a dozen or so home games a season we are due one about now.

Bizarre team selection, weak midfield,  Westy taking kicks,  subbing the best player and 0.0.

I've pinged Tom Fox an email asking westwood to be taken off corners. Let's see if it works.

Can you ping him another and ask if Westwood could just be taken off the pitch altogether?

A boring 0-0 at best , the Swansea fixture is turgid, worst case, a Swansea winner in the 86th minute

I'm a bit optimistic about this one- think we'll win 2-0. So 0-1 it is then...
A "bit" optimistic, i would say that was more "Wildly, hallucinegenically, mind-altering substance-ly, off-your frikkin tits-ly" optimistic at the moment !!.

I'll reuse my post from the last pre-match thread

We all know that Villa are the team to play if you have a striker that hasn't scored for 16 years, or a manager that hasn't won a game for 7 months etc......there is only one possible outcome.

Wasn't it Gil who was on corner duty against Chelsea?
