Grealish didn't do enough today, but Gil is hardly to blame - he put in a few good deliveries and worked hard. His problem was that he kept having to come deep to get the ball. I don't mind him doing it sometimes, but today the ball just wasn't getting to him in the attacking third otherwise.

We're only 7 points off 11th

Unfortunately at this rate it's going to take us another 15 games to get those 7 points. SHERWOOD OUT. LERNER OUT.

Where do you see them 7 points coming from?

I actually feel numb now. I have no excitement, expectation or even flight of fancy when it comes to match days. Most of our play in the middle of the park is much better than under Lambert; the passing is crisper, more inventive and attacking, but everything else in woeful. The defensive mistakes are beyond amateur and to say the attack is toothless is an understatement.

If there is anything a "new team" needs, its a rigid structure and a firm philosophy. Sherwood offers neither.

He is desperately looking for a solution, hoping that he will stumble upon it and that is what I see reflected in our team. Nothing more than a 'hope' that it will come good.

No one can see what he's trying to do and that IS the biggest worry.

I feel that Sherwood has to go

Apparently Wilkins spent most of the match having a laugh and a joke with the Chelsea fans and hugging Mourinho.

We are doomed...this has all the hallmarks of the 86-87 relegation when we were the worst team in the league by far. They have to make a change now to give themselves even a glimmer of a prayer.

Someone said to me on Friday that Mourinho should just take his one match ban against us as Chelsea wouldn't need a manager against Villa.

That's how we're seen. An utter irrelevance. A joke. Something to laugh at.

Part of me is just numb to it all, but a big part still cares and is fucking sick of it.

At least he's done something then.

I look at the team and have no confidence in any player to win a match. In fact, its worse as not only are they  poor/average but they do all they can to gift points to the opposition through own goals,  loose passes, penalties. ...

Have we lost 6 on the bounce in recent years?

Unless Sherwood changes I think this is the year we go down.
Of course it won't be entirely his fault, we've been one of the worst teams in the premiership since O'Niell left and got progressively worse.
We need a plan, we need to grind out results, defence based performances that are Pulis and Allardyce specialities.
That's the only way we'll get out of it, we need to be firstly hard to beat, solid, gritty and mean.
Sherwood doesn't play like that I think he'll continue to wing it with teams that play with offensive, creative players to try and light the spark.
The problem is those players, Grealish, Gil et al aren't good enough so you have to be more solid, and we don't have the personnel.
I guarantee a manager such as the two above would set the defence better, put Richards at right back, play more solid midfield players and make the pitch smaller, grinding out the results based on clean sheets.
Sherwood I think is not a fool, but he doesn't have the players or the will to play that way.
Chelsea won easily today and we have to hope his positive approach gets us the full points next week, he won't and can't change.

Hutton seemed to play most of the game with a I couldn't give a fuck smirk on his face. This is where we have come to as a club. Thanks Randy you egomaniac.

He REALLY has to go now.
It not just the defeat. It's the manner of the defeat.
The fact that game petered out to nothing and the fact to completely failed to show up for the second half, proves that the bloke has absolutely no clue at all.

We have heard excuse after excuse of the last few weeks.

Players not fit enough.
Injuries.
Not my players.
Lost our best players.

So, after Stoke, he told us all he knows what the problems are, this included theplayers will be having a mini pre season because they are not fit enough.

Has has had 2 weeks to think about his approach to today's game.
It was every bit as limp, lifeless, listless, uninspiring and BORING as every other game this season.
What did he change?
How did he inspire them?
What did he do to make us better than before?

Fucking nothing.
Tinker with the team, but to no end whatsoever.

Go Tim, please just go, and take the useless twat Wilkins with you.
