How Westwood continues to take corners is beyond me.

Grealish totally anonymous since half time.

Never thought I'd pray for a Sunderland equaliser.  7 points adrift in mid October is really fcukin scary.

Bournemouth only have 8 points and are 4-1 down at Citeh - we are only 4 points adrift. We are 7 points behind the Stripeys.

That makes me feel slightly better.

Gestede is a decent striker but he's simply not suited to this squad or style of play. We're trying to play fairly tippy-tappy stuff, largely through the middle or down the channels. Gestede needs wingers who can scoot to the bye-line and drill crosses over. Players like Townsend or Lennon, funnily enough.

Although our signings have been pretty decent in terms of quality, I would question what system they were purchased to play in. Did Sherwood specify how he wanted to play, with Almstadt and co then going away to identify appropriate signings? Or did Almstadt decide on a style of play and then expect Sherwood to follow it?

To me, it doesn't look like there was enough consultation over the summer. It looks a mess.

Sherwood should have gone after Stoke if they don't sack him now they never will

How he keeps getting in the team is beyond me. Championship player at a stretch

At least the 'but we only lose by 1 goal' brigade will shut up.
It will be the 'it was Chelsea, what did you expect' argument.

It sure will. Next week it will be Swansea are in good form and have been stable for years, the week after it's Everton, great club really good team and decent manager, then it's Spurs, who have spent more than us so what do we expect.

We have to wait until we play Bournemouth or Watford at home.

The team has no confidence; they look like they're waiting for the axe to fall and have no answer at all to going behind. No belief, no clue.
