I'm genuinely not interested in any excuses, bad luck, individual mistakes, playing Chelsea (who I think would be losing to most teams today), I am just not interested in any of that shit.

Week after week absolute rubbish.

We have to start to show a bit of pride and say that this isn't acceptable. There are pretty much no other clubs which would accept mediocrity as much as we do.

Exactly. You can come up with an excuse for every match we've lost, but the point is that if you can't expect to beat anyone in the Premier League then you shouldn't be in it.

Yep agreed you could have bet everything you own on us losing this game and this is a Chelsea team that's on their knees currently.

Chelsea have been very very poor. We have been so toothless and ponderous in attack it is scary. We are fucked.

Our lack of any response when we go behind is shocking.

Who are three worse sides than us?  Sunderland but will probably get out of it with Sam.  Newcastle maybe?  Bournemouth Watford?  Can't think of many others.

You know, I'm watching this and I'm thinking, this Villa team is a team that really isn't bothered.
There is no passion, fight, or desire.
And there is certainly no belief.

They are going through the motions, and then just barely.

How the fuck can you be 7 points adrift after 9 games.
7 fucking points!!

This can only end one way.

We're not 7 points adrift of safety. It's still only 4. I realize that is still utterly shit.

Good free kick by Gil. Corner from the right. Who's taking? Westwood, obviously. Nice loft to the edge of the area, bet Mourinho shat himself.

Randy is going to have to put his hand in his pocket and cough up for a quality striker. He did it with Bent, and he's going to have to do it again.

Can't see that happening again to be honest.

The twat on the other side of the pond is the root cause of this. He is a cancer on this great club

Amavi is a liability.

His defending... well, you can't really call it defending. It's more like he's attacking for the opposition.

You mean like a team who've been reading they weren't the managers picks for the last two weeks?
