I said to someone yesterday Costa needs some goals, must be delighted to be playing the Villa.

What the fuck is Hutton up to.

And how many fucking deflected goals have Villa let in this season!

It has happened so many times. Falcao needed a goal for Man U come to Villa Park and we provided. I recall Torres for Liverpool before that going through a sticky patch and enjoying a game once again at VP. We are such a charitable bunch. I know there are loads in between too.

Didn't Diego Forlan have a horrendous spell for Man u? ...Until the charity that is Aston Villa duly answered the call.

Did Shevchenko score against us too?

How the fuck can you be 7 points adrift after 9 games.
7 fucking points!!

This can only end one way.

We're not 7 points adrift of safety. It's still only 4. I realize that is still utterly shit.

Who is the co-commentator? Seems sympathetic to us.

He now wastes a sub bringing on Amavi for Richardson. Could still have three subs had he done the fucking obvious and started with, you know, a good player, instead of a journeyman English nothing.

One thing we will hear is "yeah but what do you expect from an away match at Chelsea?"

Sadly if we hadn't garnered such a pathetic return from a decent set of opening fixtures we wouldn't be in this position.

I'm genuinely not interested in any excuses, bad luck, individual mistakes, playing Chelsea (who I think would be losing to most teams today), I am just not interested in any of that shit.

Week after week absolute rubbish.

We have to start to show a bit of pride and say that this isn't acceptable. There are pretty much no other clubs which would accept mediocrity as much as we do.

Agree. Sick of watching this lot bumbling along - it's not even mediocrity (I'd take a bit of that) it's turgid nonsense.

You can guarantee they won't sack him after today either

Hutton? Hid you see the space Richards gave him to receive the ball.

While Westwood stood watching.

Hutton. Westwood. Richardson. Keeper a shell of his former self.

No wonder we are doomed. Seriously.

youre about rigth Rob

Randy is going to have to put his hand in his pocket and cough up for a quality striker. He did it with Bent, and he's going to have to do it again.
