I expect Sherwood and Wilkins are now on the team bus making sure all the seats have numbers on them ready for the team selection draw on route to the ground.Hope there isn't a number on the drivers seat.!

Villa playing and Archbishop Herbert Cockthrottle has decided to go to Norfolk.
Damning indictment of the season.

The puritans are eating funny shaped turnips again. He's got ecumenical matters at hand.

Apparently he has taken an Oliver Cromwell look alike to advise him on how to tackle a home made mushroom pie .......

I picture Wilkins rotating the tombola with the bus driver drawing the numbers as they crawl along the Kings rd

No excuses. They are in a bad run themselves, if Sherwood is serious about keeping his job he has to at least get a point and get a performance out of the team.

You can't come out with 'no excuses' when we're playing away at Chelsea. Yes, they're on a bad run but they're still a very good side.
I'll come out with what I like mate, by your logic we will have an excuse for the next 4 games then?

So we've lost 6 out of our last 7 games and you expect us to turn up at Stamford Bridge and turn them over? Ah, ok.

Although I see merit in both PoV, other teams have managed Chelsea. That's why they lie 16th. We have a much better side than our manager has so far turned out.

I couldn't even see this set of players putting in a backs to the wall shift for a courageous nil nil-er

I put us down for a 2-1 win on here earlier in the week because it's possible, but the way we're playing we can hardly demand it.

Not sure we'll get a result, but I'm hoping for some semblance of organisation and performance that we can build on.

We need to win. If not draw. If not a thrashing may be better than a run of the mill 2-0 loss on this occasion if it means we can move him on.

Agreed, ideally a win but if we're going to lose let's get a fucking twatting and bring things to head.

The worst possible result would be to lose unluckily 1-0 or something.

We'll huff and puff but create little. Chelsea defenders will just stand their ground until we run out of passes.

Well, Ivanovic has always found a way to be a difference maker against us but thankfully this year he and Azpilicueta have been terrible. I really hope Ayew gets involved but I'm not counting in it. I'm expecting a packed midfield with Westwood, Sanchez and Gueye. Wonder who's turn it is on the right back merri-go-round today.

It would be so typical of us to throw something away in injury time
