Sherwood is not a premier league manager. Neither is Lambert, Neither is McLeish. I just wish they didn't all have to come to us to find out.

You've got it in one. One gamble too many and we are down unless it is sorted very very quickly

I dont get it.

Gil, at  Leicester, is excellent and scores an absolute belter of a goal. He then disappears for weeks, only to turn up today, too late.

Ayew comes on against Small Heath, is excellent, disappears, resurfaces today, too late.

Does anyone doubt these two will now disappear again and we'll start with Sanchez and Westwood next week?

The Villa don't always ruin my Saturday's. Sometimes we play on other days of the week too.

So after Chelsea it will be 1 point from 24.

Risso might be right. It might be time for Allardyce.

Not sure I've suggested that for a year or two.

I reckon Sherwood's got FIFA on in the dressing room, and is clicking through all the formations on the tactics screen.

Next Saturday it'll be 3-4-3.

To reference another game, this season is like a Football Manager game gone badly wrong. Buy a bunch of players no one's heard of that your scouts recommend, start the season with a set plan, then results get worse and worse and you still don't know your strongest team or even formation so you change it each week hoping something works somehow.

TS has lost confidence in himself. And his self-confidence was the one major thing he had going for him.

Trouble is he hasn't lost confidence in himself. He cant see he is at fault. So he blames players...morale drops. Confusion, disillusion and relegation follows...
He bench good players and rotate formations every week. The bloom is off the rose...just thorns remain.

I am sick of Villa being shit. Sherwood is clearly clueless and just experimenting. No method, no pattern, no idea. Get Sam Allardyce so at least we win because it cannot be worse to watch than the last 5 seasons.

Im sick of it as well but Allardyce isint the answer.
Why? Because his football isn't great? Fucking wow. I've been saying keep sherwood but he has lost me today. I would happily take playing shit and winning. Fat Sam for me as well

Ask yourself why you watch football? Then conclude whether you want Fat c*** Sam or not.
I watch football (Aston villa) to see my team win. I'm so fucking sick of this every weekend for five years I would love allardyce right now. Five years. Of shit. Every week. For five years.

Veretout has had a good game, expect to not see him for 3 weeks too.

I'd rather start with an attacking line up than end with one.
