Well Live Score has us as a 433 with Crespo up front.

That would make me even angrier.

Obviously we have players much more qualified than him.

I think he has gone:

Brad

Richards Lescott Crespo

Hutton Westwood Amavi

Gueye Vertout

Gestede Sinclair

A 3-3-2-2, if you will.

Either that, or he's gone fucking mad.

Sherwood out - Fat Sam in.

I'm at VP having made the long trip down with my kids who couldn't decide if they were more excited about seeing Grealish, Ayew or Gil. Oh.

I've defended Sherwood on here and I'm still prepared to give benefit of the doubt, but there's no doubt that's a disappointing line up on paper. Hope it's better on grass.

hopes you haven't come from vegas to see this

Haha! Not direct from there, no

I guess they think he's the former striker who shared the same name!

It's not good to prejudge and all, but my instinct is that that's the worst line-up I've seen someone come up with, given the options, in a long time. You have two creative players, so what do you do? Bench them. You have underperforming defenders, so what do you do? Play all of them. Someone explain comparative advantage to this fucknut very quickly.

If Amavi is left midfield it might just work.  He said.

I've just realised Lescott has kept his place. He must love the random team generator tombola thing.

It is all just so random.

None of our recently-shown-to-be-creative players in there, all the unconvincing defenders plus another one shoe-horned in there to make his first start of the season.

All that against Stoke.

The randomness of it all is just bewildering.

I reckon that's his 'thinking'. Get it on Gestede's head as often as possible. It could be very dull, but it might, just might, pay off.
