He won't sub the crab, he needs someone rolling 5 yard balls backwards to keep things ticking over.

It's disappointingly a very conservative approach. We all hope we are wrong but the recent defeats appear to have scared Sherwood into behaving like McLeish or Lambert. I can see a fist pump at the end of this when we finish 0-0.

Don't even think it. I can just imagine the tutting and sighs going around the ground on fans hearing that team selection. Tim Sherwood Manager will soon be hearing "You don't know what you're doing" unless we win today.

You're probably right though. 0-0.

Idiotic team selection for a home game.

We do have options off the bench but why not start those options? He's a scared man.

He wants us to play shit in the first half. Tactical bloody genius, I tell ya!

Gil and Grealish on bench at HOME to STOKE.

You couldn't make it up.   Pull the trigger Tom.

Got to be the most conservative attempt at doing a Pulis you will see all season. And if we are playing a back 3, why Hutton at wing back?

Or are we playing a 4, and playing Amavi wide left?

It's pretty funny that because we are so bad at putting together 90 minutes of decent football we've decided to claim the tactic of being deliberately poor for 45 of them.

Is it worth while and more importantly is it good for my health to watch the first half?

I'm expecting to see Amavi wide left.

It's either genius or madness, well worth a watch.

Imagine being excited to watch Villa play. A pipe dream.
