HT: Veretout & Ayew > Westwood & Gestede

OK, there it is. I suppose we have to be grateful to only be 1-0 down, so we could still get something if we could just show a bit of adventure.

We're fucking useless.  I'm so bored of watching the same shit from a succession of different managers, the sooner Lerner fucks off the better.

Playing 5-4-1 with the immobile Gestedeup front, 40 yards from any other Villa player.  Hopeless.
Maybe the transfers guy misunderstood when Sherwood said he wanted Immobile and thought he just wanted immobile?

Sunderland not losing at United. Stoke winning. We look pathetic. What price a late Sunderland winner, Newcastle beat Chelsea and us ending up bottom by end of the weekend.

Neither Grealish or Sinclair are getting anywhere near him. I'd be looking to replace both at half time. Bring on somebody that can actually get involved. It would be a start.

That was the longest 45 minutes I can remember.

Tictacs Tim HAS to change it for the second half. Get any one of Gil, Ayew or Adama on and get running at them. Carry on sitting deep will only result in one thing - more goals for them

Ayew should definitely come on for Gestede.

Really unhappy with that half.

Bad tactics, some really poor personal displays, total disarray when transitioning from defense to attack.

I've never doubted Sherwood more.  :-\

Can't get much more toothless than that.  As bad as any of the McLeish / Lambert bore-off displays.

Big half for me and my patience with this manager.  We can't keep having halves where we play like kids against men.

Oh, and GET SOMEBODY ELSE ON THE DEAD BALLS FFS!!!!!

R.U.B.B.I.S.H. Why does that plodder, Westwood, continue to play? Why would you not play your best players (Gil) in place of that idiot? And for what, a supposedly defensive setup? Please.

Liverpool will be worried now, they are only one up and that's our bad half out of the way
compared to some of the tripe we've been served up in recent years I'd say that was our good half so I wouldn't get too excited

We're fucking useless.  I'm so bored of watching the same shit from a succession of different managers, the sooner Lerner fucks off the better.

Lerner has not put this team out today and played like this. There are many less expensive squads, paying less wages that Villa. Lerner wants out, but he is not responsible for this shower today. The manager is.
