Keep it tight....  The crowd will get on their backs... Manager will feel the pressure...

Of course all of that is a waste of breath when the Villa rock up.

Lescott on his heels.  Unbelievable.
Lescott too busy telling Armavi where to stand.

It's alright, everyone, this was definitely part of Tim's plan.

How can Lescott get picked on his previous display total joke.

Why do we even bother completely pathetic team selection again from dim Tim

I've been stripping wallpaper all day so I could listen to this

Ayew and Veretout had to start, surely? Instead the garbage that is Westwood and Sanchez pollutes the midfield-they're both crap, slow and limited. Garbage, Sherwood. I hope they turn round and have a stormer, though.

Come on lads!

We have had a lot of crap players over the years but neither Sanchez or Westwood fall in that category. Think both of them will be a lot more comfortable playing in a three with Gueye today.
Poor selections re Lescott and Gestede starting over Clark and Ayew.

A bollocks start, a goal down and then a valiant second display only losing 3-0. Almost Lambertesque

I'm sure some would consider this a little lily-livered and defeatist while we're still in September, but we are proper fucked.

Come on Villa.

Gestede's good and bad points in one minute there. Dominates the defender to win the header, then gives Jack absolutely nothing to work with in a good position.

The championship is a certainty next season - our worst start since 86/87 when we were last relegated
