Ayew and Veretout had to start, surely? Instead the garbage that is Westwood and Sanchez pollutes the midfield-they're both crap, slow and limited. Garbage, Sherwood. I hope they turn round and have a stormer, though.

Come on lads!

Adama on bench, Gana back in starting line up.

Guzan

Hutton
Richards
Lescott
Amavi

Sanchez
Gana
Westwood

Grealish
Gestede
Sinclair

Bunn
Clark
Bacuna
Veretout
Ayew
Adama
Gil
Gana back is a big bonus. I'm goin for a 2-2. We need a performance out of lescott or he will have to be dropped

I disagree about Sanchez. If he had any quality support in the middle, I think we'd see the best of him.

I too would have had Clark in instead of Lescott. But with the strongest bench we have had for the last few seasons Sherwood can change things around......which worries me a great deal!!

Sanchez is a very good player. Gueye is as well. Westwood isnt unfortunately.

I quite like that line up.
Outwork them in midfield, stifle and frustrate them, and then bring on Adama and Ayew to mix it up later, and provide the width and chances to win the game.

There you go Timmy, it's easy.

Would rather Ayew or Adama started instead of Sinclair, who I think has struggled recently. Getting nervy now

Good that Gana is back but I fear that line-up is neither one thing nor another - either you need people to cross to Gestede or you play counterattacking on the ground with Gil and Ayew. I hope TS proves me wrong...

You can't start Adama with the lack of training he's had.

Not much point having Gestede in the team without people who can supply him. Amavi's probably the only one with proven delivery there.
There's a big onus on Jack to find space wide and deliver too. When he does, he delivers quality.
