just seen on the official site that out allocation for this game is sold out...that is superb support, now all we need is for the team to show up :)

UTV
The Doc

Bottom of the league; no manager; 150 miles away from home; on a cold Wednesday night; in the cup competition a lot of teams don't take seriously - and we're taking over 3,000.

That is phenomenal support, lets absolutely smash them tomorrow and bring some confidence and positivity back to the club.
KMac should put that up in the dressing room!

Southampton have sold out the home ends aswell, should be a good atmosphere.

Our end will be rocking as a show of unity in these tough times, with some gallows humour thrown in.

"You've won fuck all!
You've won fuck all!
You've won fuck all,
You've won fuck all,
You've won fuck all"

And that was about the only thing they couldn't argue with us over in May.

Better times tomorrow please K Mac.

Luckily Mane - who is the type of striker that has terrified our defence for years - is suspended and Long, thank Christ, are out.

Bunn
Bacuna Richards Clark Amavi
Gana Gardner Sanchez
Gil Ayew
Kozak

Gabby, Gestede, Grealish, Traore, Crespo, Westwood, Guzan

If we want to start using these creative players properly we need to start building a proper base at the back and the base of midfield - Clark & Gardner need minutes...

I'd go:

                            Guzan

Hutton        Richards       Clark         Richardson

                  Sanchez       Veretout

                              Gana
Sinclair                                            Traore
                            Grealish

Subs: Bunn, Okore, Amavi, Bacuna, Gil, Gestede, Kozak

A pretty solid back four with a fair bit of premiership experience, sitting relatively deep protected by Sanchez and Veretout in front of them, and with pacey outlets down either wing with Sinclair and Traore. Grealish would play at the centre of an attacking diamond with Gana roaming and linking play from defence and Sinclair and Traore cutting in.

That's an odd line up, no centre forward at all?

I hope Veretout and Amavi return, Ayew to replace Ruddy up front Clark in for Lescott.

I'd probably try Sinclair as a striker, bring Ayew in on the left wing, Adama on the right wing.

Veretout, Grealish, Sanchez in midfield.

Bacuna, Richards, Clark, Amavi in defence.

Bunn in goal.

Bloody hell I didn't think I'd see worse line ups than Saturday's but there are a few on here!

I would go with;

Guzan, Amavi, Clark, Richards, Illori, Sanchez, Gana, Veretout, Grealish, Traore and Ayew up top.

That looks spot on ads. I think we should play as many of the new recruits as possible. Be good to see what a Sanchez, Gana, Veretout midfield looks like.

Could do with the lads rolling their sleeves up and putting in a shift tonight. As pointed out earlier, a cup run is never bad for morale and could help us out of this hole we are in
